Located in the John A. Wood Sport and Social Complex, Barnagore, Ovens, County Cork, Lakewood Pitch and Putt Club offers members and visitors magnificent facilities including a modern club house and changing rooms and a national championship grade pitch and putt course.

The Annual General Meeting took place Monday November 21st in the presence of thirty five members. Election of officers were as follows: President: Jo McCarthy. Competitions Secretary : Gretchen Ahern. P.R.O.: Pat Ryan. Club Coach: John Ahern. Gents Captain: John Ahern. Gents Vice-Captain: P.J.Curtin. Committee: Jerry Enright, Eudie McCarthy, John O'Donoghue, Rene O'Shea, Josie Twomey. The first meeting of the incoming committee will be held on Monday next 28th November at 8.30pm.

Turkey voucher competitions will continue on Saturday at 3.00pm and Sunday at 10.30am and 3.00pm. Our Annual Supper Dance will take place on Saturday 3rd December at The Lee Valley Golf Club. Tickets are available from committee members. All members are asked to support.

Juvenile competitions for Christmas Fayre continue on Saturday mornings at 10.30am.

Membership for 2012 is now open and membership application forms can be obtained in the clubhouse or from John Coleman at 4870566.

Upcoming Fixtures: Turkey competitions continue this weekend and Fourball times are as follows: Saturday @3pm and Sunday @ 10.30am and 3pm. Christmas fayre continues next Wednesday @ 3pm, please take notice of the change in four ball times.

Just to let our members know we will be having our annual dinner dance in the Lee Valley golf & country club on Saturday 3rd December. See notice board for further information and tickets are now available and all members are urged to support this night and friends of members are more than welcome to attend.Be warned tickets are selling fast so be sure to get them in time.

Our club AGM will take place on Monday 21st November @ 8pm and all members are urged to attend this.
